  14. I have compiled the full TeX, MF, dvipsk, and xdvik, distributions and
  15. everything works well except xdvik.  It refuses to see the pk files and
  16. writes new ones.  In the case of the calligra fonts, it writes new pk
  17. fonts on top of the old ones in /usr/TeX/lib/texmf/fonts/tmp/pk/.

  19. When I run dvips on any *.dvi file, it finds everthing and runs quietly so
  20. I don't understand the problem with xdvi.  The binary distribution that I
  21. found for Linux has the some problem.

  23. What can I do to get xdvi to see pk fonts in directory structure provided
  24. in your distribution?
